Service design
Service design is creating and optimising user-friendly, sustainable and holistic service offerings in the public and private sectors. It revolves around combining organisational goals, end-user needs and future trends and technologies.

Using tools like user personas, journey maps, and service blueprints, service design aims to create seamless, meaningful, and efficient experiences over time and across touch-points. Exceptional service design strives to build service offerings that meet customer needs and expectations effectively and feel intuitive and enjoyable, leading to user satisfaction, loyalty and profit.

At Canoe, we apply the service design approach to many projects: digital product development, service offerings in healthcare, internal culture and collaboration, design sprints and workshops, to mention some. Besides that, we have specialised in transformation processes working with behaviour, training and implementation during significant organisational changes.
Organisational design
We use design to create actionable strategies, build capabilities and transform organisations, changing the culture and mindset as we go.

To create change we prioritise a collaborative approach to our design practice and strive to align business needs, people, opportunities in technology and sustainability. We bring practitioners from all disciplines, perspectives, and backgrounds and partner with our customers to create meaningful change. We believe in an iterative process of experimenting, learning, and improving to de-risk. We take pride in investing in the hard work of actually implementing.

At Canoe we collaborate with organisations of various sizes and deliver on a wide range of organisational and learning design projects. From complete reorganisation of companies and projects to become more agile and responsive, to building strategic capabilities and designing learning journeys in addition to implementation. We work with sectors ranging from energy to aqua-culture and health to create sustainable change.

Digital design
Digital media is all around us and encompasses a wide range of disciplines, from user experience (UX) design, user interface (UI), to design system development.

We have a participatory and interdisciplinary approach to digital experience design, combining our expertise in communication and service design with technology in a user-centric approach. We design and facilitate workshops, toolkits and processes to help navigate “what could be the right thing to design”. We research and test to understand users’ needs. We build bespoke solutions or expand upon our client’s existing design systems to craft user-friendly, aesthetic, functional innovations. The ultimate goal is to enhance the user’s engagement with digital experiences, making information and data flow seamlessly, easily accessible and value-adding.

At Canoe we collaborate with organisations of various sizes and deliver on a wide range of digital transformation projects, from industrial software as a service (SaaS) development for the energy sector to fintech B2C mobile design to web design platforms for the mobility sector.
