Boids murmuration is a classic artificial life algorithm developed by Craig Reynolds in 1986 that simulates the flocking behaviour of birds and schooling fish. Complex, organic group movements, like starlings in a murmuration, emerge naturally from each individual following three simple local steering rules: separation, alignment, and cohesion.

Built as a compact HTML/CSS/JavaScript canvas generator for Webflow, this interactive piece uses a custom Boids-style flocking system, layered gradients, mouse/touch input, timed UI, and mixed ambient audio loops.
