On 1 April, Canoe turned three.

Not a bad way to spend a Tuesday.

What started as a bold idea between a handful of brave, slightly reckless people has become something we're genuinely proud of. A studio. A team. A home for work that actually means something.

Three years of not taking the easy route

Three years. A studio at Breigata 5 we've made our own. Partnerships with ambitious clients across design, organisational change, and learning and development. A multidisciplinary team of designers, facilitators, and strategists who show up every day with real commitment.

It hasn't been plain sailing. There have been hard seasons, difficult calls, and moments where we had to dig in. But there's also been laughter, breakthroughs, and the quiet satisfaction of watching work you care about land well in the world.

We've delivered projects across health, energy, public sector, and early-stage ventures. We've built tools that help teams move from ambiguity to clarity. We've helped organisations navigate change that runs deeper than a new org chart.

To the people who made it possible

To the Paddlers: thank you. For your curiosity, your craft, and your willingness to bring your full selves to the work. This studio is yours as much as it is anyone's.

To our clients and partners: thank you for trusting us, challenging us, and paddling alongside us. The best work we do is always built together.

What comes next

Year four brings new challenges, new faces, new services, and no doubt a few surprises we haven't planned for. That's fine. That's actually what we're here for.

We're only just getting started.
