Last Sunday, Canoe Space was the venue for something worth writing home about.

International Women's Day was celebrated with Lovable's SheBuilds IWD 2026 Stavanger event. Good energy, laptops open, cupcakes on the table, and a room full of people actually building things.

What the day looked like

Vibe coding. That's the headline. Participants sat down, picked up tools they hadn't always felt invited into, and made something. Lovable's platform made that accessible in a way that felt genuinely different from the usual tech-focused event. Less explanation. More doing.

There was laughter. There were small victories. There were people in the room for the first time trying something they'd been curious about for a while. It was exactly the kind of atmosphere an International Women's Day event should create.
