Welcome, Rose Burgoyne: A New Paddler Joins the Crew

Two new Paddlers on board. This time, we're thrilled to introduce Rose Burgoyne, joining Canoe as our MENPRA intern.
Who Rose is
Rose comes to Canoe with a genuinely broad background: health services, citizen-facing digital products, tech startups, and e-commerce. Across all of it, a consistent thread. A curiosity about the relationship between technology and human behaviour, and what it means when that relationship changes.
She's particularly interested in how digitalisation interacts with access, equality, and inclusion. Not digitalisation as an end in itself, but as a force that reshapes who gets what, and when, and how. That's an important lens to bring to transformation work, and it's one we don't always get to examine closely enough.
What she'll be working on
Rose's internship will focus on research into transformative processes and will last until the end of 2025. The kind of work that asks what actually changes when an organisation changes, and what tends to stay the same. She brings analytical rigour, a steady approach, and the kind of intellectual curiosity that makes her genuinely good at sitting with complexity without rushing to a tidy answer.
We're already glad she's here. Welcome to the studio, Rose.
