Last weekend, we gathered for Canoe's annual julebord.

Not a company dinner. Not a networking event. A proper Christmas celebration, with the people who make this studio what it is.

What a year

Another twelve months of bold work, real challenges, and genuine collaboration. Projects that pushed us. Clients who trusted us. A team that kept showing up with energy and curiosity and care.

The julebord is the moment we stop to acknowledge all of it. The wins. The difficult stretches. The things we learned. The moments that reminded us why we chose to build something together.

The paddlers behind it all

Canoe is a small studio by design. That means everyone matters, and everyone feels it when someone is having a hard week or a brilliant one. The closeness isn't incidental. It's intentional.

The julebord is one of the ways we protect that. An evening set aside not for agenda items or strategy, but for each other. For laughter, good food, honest conversation, and a shared acknowledgment that this year, like every year, was worth it.

Looking ahead

2026 is coming in fast. New projects, new challenges, new faces joining the crew.
